Party in July

Ever since I can remember July has been my favorite month, and here are my reasons......

4th of July: (Best Holiday Ever)
Hottest Month: (I Live to Tan)
24th of July: (Another good Holiday)
No School: (Always a plus)
Barbeque's: (Hate the food, but love the party)
I met my husband during this month
I was born July 14th 1984: (Pretty important day)

As you can see happy things happen during this month, which is why I love it! Here are a few things I did during July of 2009 that make me love it even more:

My 25th Birthday
(Thanks Amy for the pic)

George Strait Concert!!!

This is him smiling at me, I was this close!

I am also full of crap! I wish I was that close, this is how far we really were. But even though we were far he was still close to my heart! I loved every minute of the concert and Travis did too, although I showed it a little more with my crazy dance moves!

It really was an amazing concert. He could never replace Tim McGraw, but he came close! I am so happy that I can add this to my list of why I love July! Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!

Happy "25" to me!

My life has officially been going for a quarter of a century! Sick.....I'm 25 years old! Yep, my birthday was July 14Th and even though I did turn 25, I still had a blast on the best day of the year!

I took the day off work and went to the pool and baked in the sun for 3 hours. I am feeling the pain now, I got fried! My legs, stomach, arms, and shoulders are pretty red but the other body parts that should always be covered are still white and not in pain! I had so much fun hanging out with family and my nieces and nephews and Travis.

Travis was awesome! He bought me The Office season that I didn't have and then he took me to Salt Lake to go shop and eat dinner.

After dinner Travis took me to my all time favorite movie ever, The Joseph Smith Movie! I know that sounds a little crazy but the first time I saw that movie I was struggling with my life and wanted to change to be happier. The prophet Joseph Smith was an amazing man and he did what was right no matter what the consequence was, and that is the kind of person I wanted to be. So every year to help me remember to try a little harder, I go to that movie. Everyone thinks I'm obsessed and I probably am but I just like to be there and see what he did for our church.

My birthday was awesome! Travis was a peach, he made the day so much better. Thanks to everyone who wished me a great B day! Love you all lots!

Happy 4th of July

Our Holiday weekend started out Friday night after I got off work. We ate dinner and decided to watch a movie. I picked "Mean Girls". Travis was a bit weary of my choice but he actually ended up loving it!

After the movie it was dark enough to head up to the Logan Fireworks! Every year my family sits in the same spot over by the Innovation Campus. The fireworks were LAME, but it was fun to be with my family. After the fireworks Travis and I headed out to Lewiston to sleep out on the lawn, but of course it started raining so we spent the night on Travis's parents living room floor. Not a good night!

We woke up the next day and went to the Lewiston parade which was pretty good this year. I made fun of a lot of people and Travis kept getting mad at me, but I can't help it...people are weird!

After the parade I went to town with my mom while Travis put a shoe on a horse and worked with his colt. Then he picked me up from my parents and he headed over to Brigham City for his uncles barbecue. I had so much fun hanging out with The Noorda Cousins, they were very inappropriate but very funny!

After dinner we watched the Brigham fireworks which were AWESOME!!! They were so good! I don't think I ever want to go to the crappy Lewiston fireworks again. Sorry Lewiston, but you SUCK!

It was such a great weekend and the weather cooperated very well! I hope you all had a blast on your 4Th!
