New Addition!

We are so excited to have another nephew! Amy had her baby and he is such a little sweetheart. I was so excited when Amy asked me to take his newborn pictures. This will be my first newborn and he was a fantastic little model!

We love you Baylor! And thank you Amy for letting me spend the afternoon with your little man!

Sunny California!

Travis's work decided that they would send him to some training courses in California. I was so excited because I got to go too! We went to San Fransisco and I loved every minute of it.

They got us a car and a GPS system which was a total life saver! Travis had classes from 8:00 to 4:00 so I got to explore Cali on my own with out a care in the world because of my handy GPS guy! I drove all over. Travis couldn't believe that I managed to drive 800 miles by the end of the week!

The first day we got there we went to Fisherman's Wharf and to the Ghirardelli Chocolate factory where I bought myself the best chocolate shake ever. It was $9.00 but totally worth the money. We saw a bunch of sea lions on the wharf just chilling and enjoyed the street entertainment.

The next night we ate at the Cheesecake Factory on top of the Macy's building downtown San Fransisco. I was in total heaven surround by all the stores. Dolce and Gabbana, Louis Vuitton , Tiffany's, basically every store that I would never go into because I couldn't afford it but it was just cool to see.

The next day we went to Golden Gate Bridge and drove through China Town which was very interesting to see. I loved the sign on the bridge that says " Don't Jump, Get Help!" It was quite a ways down and I can see why people die.

We drove over to Oakland and saw the Temple which was beautiful and then we drove to Santa Cruz and enjoyed the ocean. I was so excited that the weather was nice. No rain at all and sunny all week long.

The last day we went to Alcatraz. This was a pretty cool place. It had a different feeling to it but it was neat. We rode a boat out to the island and got to see where they kept the prisoners. Their cells were super small. I made Travis stand in the Solitary Confinement cell and he didn't like that too much. This is where they left you if you were really bad. It had no chairs or a bed just a toilet, concrete, and completely dark. They would leave someone in there for weeks!

I can see why the prisoners went crazy because you could see and hear San Fransisco from the Island. It was a little over a mile away. It made me decided that I never want to go to prison.

So there ya go! I had such a wonderful time in Cali that I never wanted to come back. Travis was a little out of his comfort zone but he still enjoyed himself. Welcome back to Pocatello Idaho :(
