Cheap Date Night!!

Ok, so I guess working at a bank can have it's rewards. This month I did good on my goals and I got free passes to the movies! So Travis and I decided for family night, it would be fun to go see one.... and not just the lame cheapo theaters, we went to the expensive $15.00 theaters. I know how weird that must sound, but for some reason after Trav and I got married we became these crazy saver people and we are cheap cheap cheap!!! So anytime we want to see a movie, we just wait for it to go the the cheap theaters ( I mean good ol' Lewiston Theater) and see them.

We decided to see the new Wolverine movie, and I must say that I was a little weary about the selection, but it ended up being AWESOME!! I loved every minute of it, and Travis enjoyed it as well!

Travis is a sweetheart and is always encouraging me to do well on my goals each month so we can have more cheap dates like these! I have a great husband wouldn't you say!!!??!!!

Life Sucks Right Now.

So I am really bored with life right now. Maybe I need to develop a few hobbies. But as for blogging I am not in the mood! Sorry, maybe sometime soon.

Easter Sunday!

Easter Sunday was just going to be a regular Sunday for me, but thanks to my lovely husband it ended up being a lot of fun! See my family went to my grandmas in Idaho for a big Easter Egg hunt, and Travis and I couldn't decided whether we wanted to go or not. I really wanted to go but I thought if we went, then Travis wouldn't get to see his family on Easter because we would be in Idaho.

So Saturday night we made the final decision that we would just stay in Utah and spend time with his family, and then go up to Idaho another day and visit my grandma. Well that all changed Easter morning when I woke up at 7:00 am thinking about how much fun it would be to go to Idaho and see all my extended family and also all my sisters and brother.

I woke Travis up and told him how I thought it would be fun to go up, and being the sweetheart that he is, he said " Well....let's go then!" So we got up, showered, and drove to Idaho where we went to church with my grandma. After church we ate lunch and hung out with my family for a few hours. It was so much fun looking at old pictures and driving around the town my grandma lives in, I am so happy that we went!

After dinner, Travis and I left before the Easter Egg hunt so we could make it back to Utah to spend some good quality time with the Noorda's! We got to Utah about 5:00 pm, just in time for Hallmark! I love going to the Noorda's because my mother in law loves Hallmark movies so we watch them all the time!

Thanks to my husband, this has been the best weekend we've had in a long time!! What a great guy!! Love ya lots babe!

I Love MAC!

So.....I use to be a Cover Girl, and I would still be one but because of my good friend Melanie, I am no longer a Cover Girl. I am in LOVE with MAC! Mac Makeup that is.

I first found out about it a year ago, and ever since then I have been hooked! I don't think I could ever go back to using the cheap stuff. If I had it my way, I would have boat loads of MAC MAKEUP delivered to my door. The only problem I have, is my lovely husband.

Travis is such a sweetheart and he will give me anything I want, but for some reason he tends to give me a "look" whenever I want to buy some more MAC. See I bought some mascara the other week and it was about $14.00 and he was like "Mascara.....that black stuff you put on your eyes was $14.00?" And I said, "No....with tax it was about $14.95."

Travis and I have come to an agreement, and that is that I can still buy MAC, but just not all the time like I did before we were married. So I have been saving my pennies and am about to make a FAT withdrawal from the "MAC FUND"

We are going to Salt Lake this weekend to visit some family so I informed him that we will be going to MAC. I am so excited I can hardly wait! Travis will never come to the store with me because the MAC Employees that I get to help me are usually men, and gay.....and that combination doesn't sit well with Trav!

So wish me luck and if any of you know where I can get discount MAC, LET ME KNOW! That ought to put a smile on his face!

I NEED SUNSHINE!!!!!

The weather is killing me, I am getting so depressed and I am needing sunshine fast! I know my posts aren't the most exciting posts, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I am seriously hating life right now with this crappy weather! Any ideas to help me be not so depressed, would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Valentines Day!

I have never really liked Valentines Day all that much, and that is because I've never had love during this time of year. I always got dumped before Valentines or I did the dumping, and the years that I didn't have someone, I spent it alone. So you can see why Feb. 14th was just a regular day for me.

That all changed for me this year, because this year I had a Valentine, and he just happened to be my husband which made this year THE BEST VALENTINES DAY EVER!

Travis had been asking me to make him this crock pot chicken that his mom makes him, and I always found excuses not to because I don't do CROCK POTS. But I decided to make an exception for the big V DAY.

He was so surprised and absolutely loved it! I did an awesome job, and I am very proud of myself. I'm trying to be humble, but I suck at cooking, so when I do a good job I can't be humble about it at all!

After dinner we gave each other gifts, and this year I decided to get Travis some new boots and I also bought him some jeans that he has been wanting for a long time. The jeans were kind of a big deal, because they were not Wranglers, they were Cinch jeans. And if you are not familiar with cowboy clothes then you will not know what I am talking about......But all you need to know is that these are not "tight butt wrangler jeans" they are a more loose fit, like normal jeans. I am still learning about "Cowboy Clothing" so that is the best I can do to describe them.

Travis bought me a pearl necklace with earrings. I have wanted some for a long time and I was so happy that he got me them! He did not however, give me flowers. Travis has this thing where he won't buy me flowers on Valentines Day because they are "too expensive" but he did tell me that after Valentines Day when the price goes down he will get me some! Do I have the best husband or what??!!??

After lots of shopping, we went to the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" and I must say that we thought that was the stupidest show ever!!!! I would not recommend it, and neither would Travis! The only part I liked was Jennifer Aniston and Ben Afleck, the rest can all go down the drain!

Now even though we went to a horrible show, it did not ruin our wonderful V Day! I am so so grateful that from now on I will never have to spend Valentines Day in despair!! I forever have the best Valentine in the world, Travis Noorda! Love ya babes!

so so boring!!

So I have been in a really boring mood for the last few weeks..my blog hasn't been updated at all, and I apologize. I honestly have nothing to say lately...my life is really boring right now, so hopefully something exciting will happen and I will post about it!
