Hunting!

My husband is really getting into lion hunting lately. He's traveled to Vernal and Spanish Fork with his dogs to try and tree a lion but hasn't had any luck. I don't know if it's the weather, or that he just is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Well this weekend was a weekend to remember for my sweetie, he finally found a lion! And just 30 feet away from the road up the canyon. Travis is so happy that all his hard work and time has finally paid off.

It's kind of hard to see, but here is the mountain lion they treed.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and remember the real purpose of this Holiday!

One Year!

November 15th 2008, I started my life with my best friend. Travis I love you more than life. Thank you for being my everthing, and giving me more than I could ever ask for. From the moment I met you, I fell in love. I know that sounds un realistic but it is true. There was something different about you. I knew in my heart that I would never find anyone like you and if I didn't try with all that was in me to get you, that I would have to settle for less if you got away.

I prayed every night to my Heavenly Father to help you find that girl that would make you the most happy and if by some small chance it was me, I would promise to make you the happiest man in the world. I thank Him every day for keeping His end of the deal, and now I need to keep mine.

I try everyday to make you happy and I think I am doing a pretty good job, but could probably do more. I love you Travis, and I promise you that I will keep my promise and make you the happiest man in the world.

Love them Jazz!

My husband kicks butt in the "Awesome Husband" category. Last weekend Travis surprised me with a night with The Jazz! Travis has never really liked sports, but I on the other hand LOVE sports especially basketball, which is why when my brother in laws girlfriend scored some sweet tickets to The Jazz, Travis couldn't resist asking her if he could get two tickets so we could go to the game.

I've wanted to go to a game for so long but it has been hard for my husband to commit so when he told me we were going, I was thrilled. And to top it all off, we sat in the All Star Box Suite!! It was awesome! We ate buffalo wings, egg rolls, cheese sticks, chicken, shredded beef sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, salad, chips and salsa, ice cream, and all the diet coke a girl could dream of! It was literally the best night ever. Travis even enjoyed it so much that he was cheering on The Jazz with me while eating his wings!

Thanks Whitney for the tickets, and for such a incredible night. I loved every minute of it and Travis is now a Jazz fan as long as it contains wings!

Best Seats Ever!!!

Halloween!!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday, I love everything about it. I love dressing up, watching scary movies, going to haunted houses, haunted corn mazes, freaking out over everything, Frightmares at Lagoon, and carving pumpkins! My husband on the other hand hates the holiday, but he has agreed to get dressed up with me as long as it's not too weird.

This year I haven't been able to do a lot of the Halloween Activities because it seems like every time I want to go to a corn maze or a haunted house, I've been sick. The flu season this year has kicked my butt.

I was however able to go to the Pumpkin Walk with my sister and brother in law Amy and Jordan. When we got there the line was super long and Travis immediately said, "I'm up for Plan B!" But Plan B didn't happen, we waited in line for an hour and then walked through the different scenes. It was a lot of fun and I think in the end Travis enjoyed himself as well. It was a pretty fun night, and if I ever get over this dang cold I will carve pumpkins, and go to a haunted house with my sweet heart! Happy Halloween everyone, be safe and get scared!

Pack Trip 2009

I finally did it, I ventured off to Wyoming and went on my first Pack Trip! It was such a fun adventure and I loved every minute of it.....well except not being able to shower, that sucked bad. Baby wipes helped, but I still felt very dirty!


We left on a Wednesday night around 8:00 pm and didn't get to the trail head until 1:30 am. We then rolled our sleeping bags out and slept by the truck that night. I didn't get much sleep that night because it was pretty cold, and because I was sleeping on rocks but that's alright, it's all in the experience right?!? The next morning we woke up and rode a good 3 1/2 hours in to our campsite. It was pretty rough for me to ride that long, my butt was literally numb! Travis on the other hand was just fine, he has been doing this a lot longer than I have though.

For the next 3 days we just relaxed by the fire, took naps, ate lots of good food, and went on day rides! Here are a few pics from my trip, enjoy!

Home Sweet Home, and CLEAN!!!!

I had a blast on my trip with Travis and his dad and brother. I am so excited for next years trip! Everything was perfect, the only thing I would change is a little more Diet Coke!

I Promise I'm Still Alive!

I know I haven't made a post in a while, but nothing interesting has happened for me post about. My life is not exciting, I tell Travis all the time that I hate how my life feels like a routine and I do the same thing every day; go to work, go home, eat, sleep, wake up and do it all over again. I think what makes me most upset about this "routine" is the only thing that Travis can say to my complaining is "Life is a routine it's not summer anymore, it's time to grow up and go to work!" Oh that makes me mad but in a way he's right. I'm all grown up now and I have responsibilities...I just wish I could be a kid forever. I miss the drama on the playground where nobody would let me play kick ball, or hop scotch. I miss "Show and Tell" and I miss the math where the hardest thing I had to do was multiply 50 by 100. Man those were the best!

The last 25 years sure have gone by way too fast I hope the next 25 slow down. I guess I just need to start enjoying the moment even if I am stuck in a routine. Actually this weekend I will be riding my horse Jake so I'll post some pictures and tell you all about it, I'll also try and have more interesting things happen to me so I can let you all know. Maybe I should just get pregnant that would be interesting:) Ha Ha YA RIGHT!!!!
