Hunting is fun!! Who would have thought?
I was starting to feel bad for him cause he was getting pretty discouraged over this whole hunting thing. Then finally they saw some Elk!!! He was so excited that he wanted me to go with him, so I decided I would be a good wife and support my husbands habits and go with him on one of his hunts.
We went last Saturday up Logan Canyon by the Wind Caves. It was a beautiful day, the sun was out but it was still a little chilly. Travis wanted to make sure I was warm so he had me wear thermals, two pairs of sweat pants, two sweaters, two pairs of socks, snow boots, snow pants, snow coat, and he gave me hand warmers! I was grateful that he wanted me to be so warm, but I know that the only reason why he dressed me that way is because he didn't want to have to deal with my complaining all day! It's OK I still love him lots!
After hiking for about 5 hours up the mountain toward the elk, we were finally in range of them and we could take a shot! Travis and my brother in law Justin were both shooting at the same group of elk but only Travis was able to get one at that time, Justin then ran after them for another few hours and ended up getting his!
I never understood the whole hunting thing and why it was so much fun because while we were making our journey up the mountain I was thinking about 1000 different things that I would rather be doing at that time. It wasn't until I saw my husbands bullet hit that poor animal and then watching it roll down the mountain completely helpless that I really got excited! It was awesome! You all should try it sometime!!
Travis, Jessica, and poor cow! I do it cause I love him!
Jordan, Travis, Justin, and Justin's elk. Jordan was a big help during the day! What a guy!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Well....I'm pretty much a big loser when it comes to blogging. I suck at this stuff... Seriously I have the hardest time with putting pictures on it and making it look cute. I'm trying, but it's just taking me a while to figure it out. If it weren't for my friend Melissa at work, my blog would still look like it did at first.....UGLY!
But I was looking at my sister in laws blog (which is AMAZING by the way) and I found this picture of me and my cute husband so I decided to use it as well and wish you all a Merry Christmas!
I promise the wedding pics are coming but don't count on it too soon! I'll have to get with my sis and have her help me load the pictures because computers make me handicap!
So marriage is great, not gonna lie;) But when people say it's an adjustment, well trust me and believe them! Travis and I are so happy but it's just taking us a little bit to get use to each other 24/7 Travis is a great husband, he helps clean up and takes me out on dates even though he really doesn't have to, and actually likes my cooking which I was very nervous about! Although I found that Travis will eat ANYTHING so really I don't have much to worry about.
This Christmas will be our first Christmas as a married couple! Last year we had been dating for a about 4 months and were still in the awkward stage so we just gave each other gifts that wouldn't freak the other out and want to break up with each other! But now we're married so it doesn't matter if I freak him out!! ha ha sucker! Just kidding!
This Christmas season has been crazy for us! Travis and I have been to parties and we've hosted a awesome "sweater party" although nobody came with a Christmas sweater except my mom and my nephew! They were great sports!
love Christmas time and all the parties! And I absolutely love dressing up for each and every one! I just wish I could get my husband to dress up with me, but that is impossible! Maybe next year.
Well that's really all I have to say, but Travis and I both wish you all Happy Holidays and not to forget what Christmas is really about! We love you all and are excited to start traditions with family and friends together! Merry Christmas!
Love, The Noorda's
P.S. Thanks Linds for taking pictures at my party and then letting me steal them for my blog! Love ya lots!

November 15th 2008! Best Day Of Our Lives!
Travis insisted on wearing a cowboy hat with his tux and so I insisted on him wearing a pink flower! We each got our wish, we sure know how to compromise!
Us and our parents! Clyde and Margaret Noorda, and Jay and Debbie Sleight. I love my family and I couldn't have done it without them!
We love to kiss in our family so I am glad that Travis's family also agrees! Yum, Yum Good!
Travis surprised me by having a horse drawn carriage pick us up from the Temple and take us to our wedding luncheon! He was such a gentleman! Bet you all wish he was yours! HA HA Suckers!
Like I said...We love to kiss! I don't know how I could ever stop kissing this good lookin cowboy!
